Although New Orleans is known for its vibrant nightlife, New Orleans is a great place for a family trip! Enjoy the melting pot of French, African and American cultures and the amazing food. Frenchman St

If you’re looking for a fun night out all in one place, go to Frenchmen Street. Start your night off at Adolfos. It is a hole in the wall that most people don’t even know is there, with some of the BEST FOOD you will ever eat! Then head on over to 3080 or Bamboulas for live music and drinks, or if you’re looking for more of a club scene, the Dragons Den is the place to be!

New Orleans Historic Train Garden

Located inside City Park’s Botanical Gardens, the Historic Train Garden has replicas of streetcars and trains found all around New Orleans. The track is over 1,300 feet winding around the park. Along the track is the history of transportation in New Orleans. This historic miniature replica will bring education and fun all in one place. While the Train Garden is open during Botanical Garden hours, the trains only run on the weekends. 

Big Easy Bayou Kayak Tour 

If you’ve been wanting to kayak on your vacation in New Orleans, then go onBig Easy Bayou Kayak Tour in manchac swamp. What’s a trip to New Orleans without some jazz? Preservation Hall has jazz shows nightly starting as early as 6 p.m. Listen to the New Orleans jazz melodies from yesterday and today. This all age jazz hall is one every member of the family can enjoy. Make sure to get there early, seating is first come, first serve!
